Managing Users and Staff

Control who has access to your Scored account, what they can do in the web dashboard, and how they sign in to the POS Kiosk on match day.

User Roles

Scored has three access levels for venue staff:

  • Owner: Full access to all platform features including venue settings, billing, Stripe configuration, and user management. There is one Owner per venue account.
  • Manager: Full operational access — leagues, fixtures, financials, marketing, and user management. Managers can also access the Admin Control panel in the POS App when they sign in at the kiosk.
  • Staff: Access to day-to-day operations — Daily Log, check-in, and basic fixture management. Staff cannot access financial reports, venue settings, or user management. When signing in to the POS App, staff are taken directly to the Terminal screen (sales and fixture payments only).

Adding Staff Members

  1. Navigate to Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Click Invite User.
  4. Enter the staff member's email address.
  5. Select their role — Manager or Staff.
  6. Click Send Invitation.

The invited staff member will receive an email with a link to create their Scored account. They sign in using their email/password or Google account. Once they accept the invitation, they appear in the Users list and can access the platform according to their role.

Staff Sign-In to the POS Kiosk

The POS App starts at a Staff Sign-In screen. Staff members enter their PIN to authenticate:

  • Managers are taken to the Admin Control panel — full POS management including settings, reports, and product management.
  • Staff are taken directly to the Terminal screen — the sales and fixture payment interface with the Products and Fixtures tabs.

Each staff member sets their own PIN when they accept their invitation. PINs can be reset by a Manager or Owner from the user's profile in Settings > Users.

Managing Existing Users

From the Users list in Settings, you can:

  • Change a staff member's role between Manager and Staff.
  • Reset a staff member's PIN for POS access.
  • Remove a user from the venue account. Removed users immediately lose access to the dashboard and cannot sign in to the POS App.

Your Own Account

To update your name, email address, or password, click your profile avatar or name in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select Account Settings. If you signed up with Google, your name and email are managed through your Google account.
