Adding Players to Fixtures

Each fixture has a roster — players must be added to track attendance, payments, and stats. The Daily Log is where you manage this on match day.

Why Add Players

Adding players to a fixture roster is how Scored tracks who played, whether they were checked in, and whether they have paid. This feeds into attendance reports, payment summaries, and individual player history.

How to Add a Player

In the Daily Log, locate the fixture card and find the team section you want to add a player to:

  1. Click Add Player on the team section of the fixture card.
  2. Search for the player by name, email, or phone number.
  3. Select the player from the results.
  4. Click Save.

The player appears in the roster immediately with their check-in and payment status.

Creating a New Player on the Spot

If a walk-in player isn't already in the system, you can create them directly from the Daily Log without leaving the fixture card:

  1. Click Add Player and search for the player — if no match is found, click Create New Player.
  2. Enter their name, email, and phone number.
  3. Click Save.

The new player is added to the system and to the fixture roster in one step.

Adding Players via Kiosk

Players can self-register at the venue kiosk. When a player checks in at the kiosk, they are automatically added to their team's roster for the relevant fixture. Their check-in status updates in the Daily Log in real time.

Viewing the Roster

Each fixture card in the Daily Log shows the full player roster for both teams. Each player row displays their name, check-in status (present or absent), and payment status (paid or outstanding).

Removing a Player

To remove a player from a fixture roster, click their name in the fixture card ? Remove from Fixture. This removes them from this fixture only — it does not delete the player from the system or from their team.

Player Limits

Leagues may have a maximum players per team setting. If a team has reached the limit, the Add Player button will be disabled until a player is removed or the league setting is updated.
